Full-Bathroom vs. Half-Bathroom
Often times customers ask us our opinion on whether they should chose a full size bathroom in their basement or a half size bathroom. While it really is a personal preference, the following are a list of questions we ask our customers to better gauge their needs.
1. Do you intend to have a bedroom located in the basement in which someone will be living in most if the time? If the answer is yes then a full bathroom is almost always the selected option.
2. How many bathrooms do you already have in your home? Generally if the homeowner has at least 2.5 bathrooms upstairs, they usually chose a half bathroom downstairs as long as they are not including a bedroom.
3. Does it fit in your budget? GCS can give you a rough price of what it will cost to add a full or half bathroom, just to make sure it fits within your budget.
